I began my professional career as an architect… but I also do a whole lot more!
I am diving into more user experience design in both the physical and digital world.
I recently worked in Building Experience Development at the LEGO Group.
I began my professional career as an architect.
I bring over 8 years of architectural experience: from retail interiors, to mixed-use multi-family developments, to public works and education projects. I hold a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan. I am also a licensed and registered architect in the State of Washington.
I dabble in painting, sculpture, and digital art. I have a love of texture and ephemerality.
My work encompasses the mapping of a journey through a city in bronze casts of walking surfaces, the poetry of erasure in Detroit, among other fleeting experiences.
I firmly believe in the power of design and technology to improve lives. Therefore, I am always experimenting and learning new things in the hopes of making helpful and delightful experiences for others.
In my free time I find peace in movement as an avid hiker and marathon runner.
But, I also enjoy the meditative and introspective days as a painter, sculptor, and gamer.
I guess you could say… I am a tinkerer, a wanderer, and a dreamer.
